Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 June 2026

At 5StepAds, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for digital products (modules, courses, workshops) and professional services. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Digital Products (Modules & Courses)

Due to the nature of digital products — which are delivered and accessible immediately upon purchase — we generally do not offer refunds once access has been granted.

However, we will issue a full refund if:

  • You have not yet accessed any module content and request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • There is a verified technical issue on our end that prevents you from accessing the content and we are unable to resolve it within 5 business days.
  • You were charged more than once for the same product due to a payment processing error.

Refunds will not be granted if you have accessed the content, changed your mind, or found a similar product elsewhere at a lower price.

2. Workshops

Workshop registrations are subject to the following refund terms:

  • More than 14 days before the workshop date: Full refund granted.
  • 7–14 days before the workshop date: 50% refund, or full credit transfer to the next available cohort.
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop date: No refund. Credit transfer to the next cohort is available upon request.
  • No-show on the day: No refund and no credit transfer.

If 5StepAds cancels or reschedules a workshop, all registered participants will receive a full refund or priority placement in the next cohort, at their choice.

3. Professional Services

Services such as Meta Ads Setup, Ads Content Production, and WhatsApp AI Chatbot Setup are project-based. The following terms apply:

  • Deposits paid to begin a project are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • If 5StepAds is unable to deliver the agreed scope of work due to our own failure, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund for the undelivered portion.
  • Disputes over deliverable quality must be raised within 14 days of delivery. We will work with you to address any reasonable concerns through revisions before any refund is considered.

4. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, contact us at admin@5stepads.com with:

  • Your full name and email address used for the purchase.
  • The product or service name and date of purchase.
  • The reason for your refund request.

We will review and respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Billplz Sdn Bhd. Refunds are initiated by us through the Billplz platform and subject to their processing timelines. We have no control over how long your bank takes to reflect the refund in your account.

6. Consumer Rights (Malaysia)

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other applicable Malaysian law. If you believe you have a valid claim beyond the terms stated here, you may contact the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TTPM).
